I'm looking to get a set of the Hardin Marine switchable mufflers. I was trying to get some info on what sort of noise level these things can quiet a 500 hp motor down to. Hardin wasn't a whole lot of help for me. They just said that they would put a 800 hp motor into the mid 90's for db. There are a lot of cops on the water here and i don't want to be getting picked up every weekend for loud exhaust. But would still like the wide open for places i can get away with it, and starting it open, it makes me horny........
