any one know what wires to disconnect
|
I think it is built into the stock ignition module. But possibly it may be piggy backed next to it and maybe you could just unplug it and use a jumper wire ???

Its burned into the computer I believe. I sent mine to whipple to be reburned from factory 5350 to 5600 upon whipple install

It depends on what you have. On my 525SC with a TB IV ignition, there was a separate box that was the rev limiter. You could just get a standard 454 mag wiring harness that goes from the module to distributor and eliminate it.
It will depend on the serial number for your engine and what ignition you have. If you have this set up, you can do as I said. http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show_...RU+0F877722%29 |

2 wires coming out of distributer, going into a wire loom harness, so i assume the module is in the distributer and i do have msd boxes as well.

Yours must be this one then. I think the rev limiter is built into the module then.
