502EFI to HP500EFI
If a great deal was available for the intake system from two HP500EFI's along with the headers would it be a feasible swap on to two 502EFI's that have had some decent work done ? Would there be much difference in power? Is it worth the work if the price for the complete intake system and headers was down and dirty cheap, as in $3500.00 for two complete sets.
The 502EFI's have a little top end work in place with roller rockers and larger, good valves. Cam was upgraded also along with pistons and rings. Not sure exactly how it compares to the HP500EFI cam.
I'm already using Stainless Marine with long through transom risers.
Am I wasting my time and spinning my wheels even thinking about this ? Would I really gain enough to justify the expense ?
