Yea the red boxes are the auto boxes, they don't take the abuse and shaking well. I would swap it out with the blue box right away and try it.

Just make sure before you change it out, that you're getting voltage to the box.

Well, after finally going thru everything tonight I found the problem!! The groung wire off of the MSD came apart!! Easy fix thank god! Now I have another issue maybe you guys can help me out with. I have a boost retard box that I had hooked up last year, but with some other issues I was having at the time, I disconnected it. I hooked it back up tonight the way that the diagram shows and It won't start. If I disconnect the 12v switch wire off the retard box, it fires right up? My question is, does the retard box pick up power from the ignition box when the white wire of the ign. box is connected to the yellow wire off the retard box?? I can't figure out why it wont let the ign. box send spark to the dist.??? It's like the retard box is grounding out the MSD?
