Default Automatic Oil Change Pump

In a recent Powerboat magazine, I think the latest issue, there was an article about a transom mounted pump system that would make changing this oil in my cat a breeze. I was going to order one but when I went to find the magazine, my wife had thrown it out. I'm pissed as I always save my magazines but more importantly I can't find anything about this product anywhere. Can someone please look in their copy and give me a name, phone number or website? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might also look at a preluber pump. I bought mine 10-12yrs ago and set it up with a quick disconnect that lets me drain the oil from the bottom of the pan.. Works very nicely.. I believe this is the website for them.. Mine is an older unit, so they have changed since then..

http://www.pre-luber.com/preluberkits.htm

Hope that helps.

I don't know how much the X-chang-R costs, but the drain tube kit to replace your oil pan drain plug is only about $60 bucks from Mercury. All of the new engines ship with this installed. Just warm the oil to thin it out and suspend any particles, and extend the tube out the bilge drain hole, and let the oil drain out into a 5 gallon can. I normally let mine open mine when I get home from boating, and let it sit overnight, but it is done in about 30 minutes.

ANY of the systems that pump oil out of the pan still leave 1/2+ quart of oil in the bottom of the pan. I like changing 100% of my oil, not ~90%.

Pre-lubers are the chit though.
