Yep, when I traveling north from Florida to drop off my VR 1, I received word that I had a very sick dog at home. Eddie met me at the shop at night so I could get home. This was the night before he was going out of town on vacation! He was also great on keeping in touch about the rebuild.

Yes Justin I have to agree Eddie is definitely the most knowledgeable and nicest person I have ever meet. I had him put new springs in my Heads on my 525efi and before I even sent them to him he was willing to help me out on the phone and explain how to do it myself. I'm glad I sent them to him because he did a excellent job on them. I've called him on many occasions and he's help me out tremendously I just can't say enough about Eddie. I hope someday do go and meet him in person and shake his hand. :-)
It has been an Extremely busy year and I just haven't been able to find the time to get on here as much as I used to or would like to. I love this site and wish that I could spend a little more time on here helping out, answering questions or just BSing, but I certainly am not complaining that business is so good. Gotta make hay while the sun shines.

Eddie is a true class act, and an old fashioned southern good ole boy. Straight shooter, no politics or hidden agendas with Eddie.
I've spent many times on the phone with him, discussing engine stuff, boating stuff, life stuff, etc. Great guy who loves what he does, and takes time to help guys out, even if theres nothing in it for him, but a thank you.

I will shoot you straight though. It may not be what you want to hear, but you can take it to the bank. If I think it's a piece of crap, I'll tell you in the nicest way that I can that it's a piece of crap.lol I'm far from perfect. Can be a little slow at times but I just want it to be right.
One other thing MT. This site is very lucky to have you here. You add a ton to this place and it surely would not be the same without you. I actually read just about every post you make. I really like how you bring up a subject to get guys talking and batting ideas around. I know the value that you bring to this site and I'm sure that others do as well. Keep it up brother.

He walked me through my fuel system change and design when my 454 mag MPI's were vapor locking. Ripped the VST's out,, some work, time and $$ and I haven't had a vapor lock in two years... he'll be the one doing my motors when the time comes....

Thanks MT. You know that I love to not only talk engines and boats with you, but I just love to talk in general. I do love what I do and feel truly blessed to be able to do it. I also really enjoy helping others who can't afford to stroke a big check. I was that guy once and was able to get to where I'm at by people helping me along the way. I still have people that help me with question I may have. In no way, shape or form do I know it all. I get help from a few guys when I need it. I am certainly not beyond asking for help when I don't know the answer.

Just a quick thanks to Eddie that I should have made public a few months ago. A few months ago I sent Eddie an email asking him if he could guide me through my 3D timing table. He responded to me on a Sunday morning by phone. Eddie went online , downloaded the program of my ignition box into his computer, took an hour to become familiar with the program and then called me back. We were on the phone for 2 Hrs on a Sunday afternoon designing a timing table. That's the first time we ever spoke and he took that kind of time and effort to help a stranger.
Thanks Eddie

Eddie is a great guy for sure, I stopped by his new shop one day after being at the in-laws house and talked to him for 2-3 hours all while he showed me around his shop and his engine building room. He has some nice custom workbenches in there along with a custom SKATER (I believe) office chair! He will honestly tell you whatever you want to know. The industry needs more people like him in it.

Not a word spoken here that wasn't earned. Called at 2:00 am just to leave a msg once to ask him to call me the next day and guess what? "Hello, this is Eddie". Never spent a dime with the man but he's always been more than willing to answer questions and offer advise. Eddie, brother I hope you get wealthier than you already are from this sport. It's guys like you I love to see prosper. Thanks for everything you do for us.
