I read many posts on Smartcraft gauges, and as I understood it should be an easy peasy job to put one to work with my single 496 HO (2006 model).
I found some alternatives, the smaller and cheaper being probably the SC1000. The SC5000 is obviously nicer, but I wonder if it's worth the additional bucks. And last but not least, I'm considering also the different route of a smartcraft enabled Northstar chartplotter, like the 538.
Any views, suggestions, pros and cons, etc. highly appreciated!
