I just pulled a list of engine codes from my 2002 5.0L 260hp Bravo 3. Some of this I understand and others I do not. I've not located a complete list of Mercruiser codes on the web so I assume I need a book. What book and where to buy? The MercuryMarine.com website is a little proud of their publications.
Codes:
94: Pitot Ckt Lo (believe this if for sensor not connected)
75: Fuel Level Ckt Hi (believe this is for sensor not connected)
119: Steering Ckt Lo (believe this is for a sensor not connected)
130: Steering Ckt Lo (believe this for a sensor not connected)
History:
151: Fuel Pump Ckt (Guessing it's faulty since it's noisy. Believe there are two pumps so which pump?)
152: IAC Output (This is a little valve on the back of the throttle body. I assume I just replace it? Is there a way to test it with an ohm meter or something?)
Are these shared GM parts with a 305/350 truck motor? The boat is stored out of water and fresh water use only 30 or so hours a year. Net, not a heavy marine application. Hate to pay the ridiculous Mercrusier price when it's not needed.
