What approx HP gains from Performer Intake?
#21
well today is the day
Im calling jegs and ordering the performer manifolds for my engines. From past experiences I know that every little bolt on you do assuming it is feasible, will add a bit here and there, some mods more than others will add higher HP but have to start somewhere. can always do a spacer and move to holley's and or demons. Unlike some of you, im not restricted on height and can easily handle the increased rise for i have about 12-14 inches from top of flame arrestor to underside of engine hatch (older baja's always had nice freeboard measuments
)
So this will be #1 mod for this month, later in the summer, or early fall, maybe ill opt for getting the heads done up a touch or purchase 2 sets of 454 mag heads ??? Not sure yet
But I believe there was a thread a long time ago called 454 on steriods, Im not sure if it was Audio or not that was involved with this or not, but those statistics could be useful to others that have this very popular 454-330 HP engine.
Thanks much for your input and now I have some modding to do
