Arrow Mixing Toluene

Using a 30 gallon caddy at 93 octane how much Tolene would i have to add to make around 95 octane.

If you start mixing in toluene you can effect much more than just the octane level..specific gravity, RVP, Burn ratio....I would recommend buying you some 110 leaded race gas or some 102 unleaded and blending that it with it instead. Just my opinion.

About 2 Qrts to 30 Gals should put you about there.

Ken,
A mix of 27 gal. of 93 octane fuel with 3 gal. of toluene will produce 30 gal. of 95.1 octane fuel.

Its all math

27 gallons fuel x 93 octane=2511
3 gallons Toluene x 114 octane=342

2511 + 342 =2853/30 gallons=95.1
