Default HELP with "TRS" shifter CABLE mounts!

hello and thanks in advance for any help with the cable mounting on TRS Borg C-72's. i had the old merc tranny's that were electronically actuated. now i am in the process of mounting up the C-72's with cables. i can't seem to find a place where the cable housing is suppose to be mounted to. currently i just have the plate that mounts to the shifting mechanism on the tranny with a small (1" X 3") plate and a movable rod end hooked to it. i can see where the cable end could be incorporated to such however don't see anything or place for the cable housing to mount to. what am i missing?

thanks for your help...

john

Is it possible it clamps on to the tailstock using parts 22-25? I'm not real familiar with the Borg-Warner as I have the Merc Trans ll with cable shift.

Here is a picture of the rest of the linkage. Sounds like your missing some of these parts.

thanks very much for your help. i have what i was trying to refer to #11 through #14. looks like i have some linkage parts to locate. i kept looking near the top of the tranny housing near the shifting mechanism and didn't think to look along the side for additional linkage hook up.

thanks again,
john
