Default 496 mag vibration issue

Hi

I got one 2006 496 8,1s that have been installed with an volvo drive, I bought it and installed it with a bravo one drive, i changed the coupler and put a new flywheel housing on the engine. And when i start it up it vibrates heavily, Is the engines different with inboard versus outdrive set up ?
What could the problem be any ideas ?

Looks like you might have the wrong flywheel. Internal balanced vs external balanced. I had it happed to me.

Did it have a dowel pin to make sure you bolted it up correctly? I did the same thing years ago and had the same results. After 1,500 rpms the engine wanted to jump out of the boat.
