On the 4 hose t-stat I t'd the two on each side into one and it ran it to the bottom of the manifold. Eickert manifolds only use one line in.

I believe that is the issue. There is simply too much water going in and it can't get out fast enough.

I agree. I would dump a couple of lines off the back of the intake manifold. It will increase exit water flow, and help with more uniform cooling.

i know you some what joking however you can get gaskets that need to be modified to suit your application... there is so many gaskets and only so many interchange however some can with mods to the water jackets.

i would think the temps would be show this though.

have you checked your thermostat to see if it is opening all the way and is there a bypass from where the water enters the block to down stream of the thermostat. If there is any obstruction the water pressure will be excessive.

Checked t-stat this weekend and installed another for the heck of it. No change in pressure. I was kind of thinking maybe head gaskets? I used Felpro marine. Has anyone had issues with these?

Where in the rear of the intake would you bleed water from? I did not see any areas that would accept a fitting?
