Default Oil change habits

I'm curious what the "norm" is for OSO members who change their own oil. I'm pretty religous about it, changing the oil AND filter both every 40 hours. I've been running straight regular
40wt. With synthetics, I'm sure it's a longer duration between changes, but still curious about the duration and frequency of changing the filter.

1. Using Regular or Synthetic Oil?
Regular

2. Hours between oil changes?
40 hours

3. Do you change the filter every time, or skip a cycle?
Every time

I change mine every fifty hours max. Always have used 25w-50 or staight forty weight Castrol or quicksilver. Switched to Mobile 1 synthetic now due to this board. Also bought mobile 1 filters. Normally use volvo filters on the regal and mercruiser on the scarab. With filters on a boat the only thing I care about is that they have a resetting pressure relief valve, not a crush. Fram has crush. There isn't much contamination out on the bay, and I change my oil often enough that it will never matter what filter media is used.
