If you need the splined input shaft and coupler I have 2 out of similar vintage blowers.

My understanding is the Merc splined shafts are no longer available and you have to switch to keyed shaft and then get new pulleys. Used is your best bet.

the problem is this unit has a 10.66 shaft and the the std weiands are 9.9 so thats out, they made 3 different weiand blowers for merc, early ones used the 9.9 shaft so changing those are no big deal, they used to make a 10.9 that would either work on could be shortened but that is no longer available now, what I'm looking for is a 94-98 unit....thanks for any help....Rob

Holley part number 91180 shaft kit, comes with a coupler. I changed to the automotive shaft and have had no issues. My blower is a 1995. Summit is $205.00, I got mine from truckperformance.com for half that if they are still around.

In all honesty this thing would be a piece of cake to reverse engineer. If you have one or one like it but shorter, take it to any machine shop. Tell them to reproduce what you have (but longer) out of 8620 shafting material. It will be equal to or better than what weiand used.

well did not find any parts around, so the owner is having a new shaft made, seems we ran out of options....turned out that replacement shaft they were selling was from a x-tra long s/b blower for a impala...and demand was no more so they discontinued the shaft so we now got the shaft ! thanks Rob
