Thanks for all the input guys. Sounds like JL is the way to go. I'll at very least check out the Memphis stuff anyway. Price is a bit of an issue however I realize from you get what you pay for also. What amp would be good three 12" subs or two 10" and one 12"? Either in the Memphis or JL???
I am thinking of having one sub in the cuddy.
Thanks,
John

I have my Memphis 1100 Class D running 4-10" subs.
It has no problems and its not even turned all the way up.
This is my fourth season with it. Its not a marine version either, I keep it in the cabin.

JL audio 750/1 is a great marine amp.. they are releasing the new 1200/1 this winter..
the 600/4 is awesome as well... I have several.. best I have heard.. the Alpine is also supposed to be a good one.. both are Class D amps..

what is your budget and what are you trying to get?
I like Bose marine speakers for long term value. They sound good and don't change color (white stays white)
If you want a ton of sound I'm sure the JL's will be great. if you want more normal sound you can go a whole bunch of routes and save some dough.
