Default Questions on boat carpet?? Brands??

I am looking at putting snap in carpet in the boat and have two questions.

1. Is there a certain brand of carpet that is better than others for marine use

2. I am thinking of a dark grey carpet... Will the surface get extremely hot in the sun; like hurt to stand on? I know dark is going to draw heat

thanks guys!

Sonic uses R&R textiles. Contact them to see if they have the pattern for your year boat. The only thing that would be diffrent is the bolster leg locations.

I use Mat Works. They already have patterns for the more popular boats, so all you have to tell them is the color. They will send you some samples if you wish. They have an excellent product and are great to work with. Real high quality carpet made for the marine environment.

I found R&R textiles. I called them to inquire about some work. I got another company that said they closed their doors at the beginning of this year. SORRY.
