My first time, guys. Anyone out there with the older Mach 1's? I have a 1987 27 footer w/twin 454's. Since Envision boats went out of business, I have no contacts for information on these boats.

Bill Felt started Mach 1 Boats after being an officer in the Glasstex (Glasstek?) line. The hulls were his own design.
Mine is an '87 with twin 454's as well. I've had fun with it and it flys...
I'll be re-gauging it this winter with a set of Livorsi's. Can't wait.

Older mach 1's were built by Felt Industries. Sold to Freedom Boats then finally to BAHA. I would have to say the Felt Ind boats were better. Had a condor that flew, beat most boats in its class ran a small block(built) with beefed up Alpha Drive. They are heavy but they cut waves like a hot knife though butter. I am considering buying another one. The only problem finding a clean well taken care of Mach 1.
