Default TRS Merc II Tranny Weight?????

Anyone know the weight of the Merc II transmission?

I have the short version not the borg warner long one.

Im guessing around 150-200 pounds. But an exact weight would help for the shipping costs.

Thanks SHU

They must be about half the weight of a C-72 then. Wasn't aware of that.

Don't the B-W's have a steel case? Merc Trans are aluminum and only have half the internals. I'll be at my shop tomorrow and will weigh one and post this time tomorrow.

Thanks that helps.

Its just a awkward lift. Thought for sure it would be over a 100.

Well at least the shipping is going to be cheaper. LOL

Thanks.

I plugged in 150 for the shipping so i will have to recalculate that.
