I finally got the dyno results from my 500EFI with the Tyler Crockett Throttle Body Intake Mod. The engine is a 500 EFI bored and stroked to a 540, Bob Madera custom cam, AFR 305 aluminum heads, Aeromotive 1000 fuel pump, 55LB injectors , ect... The engine made 693 HP at 6000rpm. Torque is 690 at 4200. I will post more when I get the final dyno sheet. Jeff Wurl

It must be breathing to make power to 6000 RPM :D

exactly, the hp limiting factor on the 500's and 525s is the manifold itself, they are great for peak low end torque, but even with the larger mono blade throttle body they run out at about 5400 rpm. my 500's have afr 325 heads, cam, throttle body,injectors and comp redone, I'm at 625hp/670tq... I think the most anyone has gotten with this setup is around 630-640 without making it a 540. mine are stock bores.
