Default high volume machanical fuel pump?

during SuperV's dyno pulls this past weekend we had an Issue with the fuel pressure getting a bit low with the stock pump. We have the ones mounted on the seawater pump who makes a high volume pump that will replace it? will a HV holley work?

I bought 2 carter high output mech pumps from CV products and put the fuel pump bottoms on the mercury stock fuel pump tops with levers. You will need to get some small screws and drill some of the screw holes out, since Carter and Mercury pumps have the threads in opposite pieces.

Mine are mounted on the sea pumps and I maintain 8 - 9 on the mechanical preasure guages and I have low pressure warning lights on the dash. No problems all last year on 540 cu motors.

I don't have the part number, but here is their web address. I would give them a call.

Good luck.

I bought two Holley HV Marine mechanical pumps from Snyder marine that had the arm modified so they would work on the sea water pump. Hold good fuel pressure with twin 750s on a blower.

If you buy the carter buy it form a local car parts store. About half the price CP performance will sell it for.

I have a used HV mech pump for sale. Holley or Edelbrock, I'm not really sure. It has 1/2" ports so it'll flow around 140gph. $25 and it's yours.

Yes. As I recall it made something like 13psi.
