On a SSM III, IV, V setup, without mid plates, how does the mount look or work onto the inner transom plate?
Here is a pic of my TRS tailstock. Are the mounts just forward of the TRS tailstock in the pic for a SSM setup?? The ones that bolt to the actual transmission??

SSM use a different trans tailstock that BW TRS steups. You can swap out the tailstock on yor current trans.
There are a couple monuts that bolt to the transmission mount holes, the 2 on each side of the trans housing, that line up to the transom plate.
I've always used a rear plate to mount it as well.

on all the ssm stuff i worked on have had race mounts, front and rear motor plates which mount to the stringers with alunimum angle plates.. if you still want that trans i will give you one rear race mount with it so you wont need the little block that bolt to the tranny which bolts to a l plate on the stringers..
