Power steering leak??
 

I am using up power steering fluid and can not find where it is going???? It is not in the bilge or in the water that I can tell. Any help is welcomed.

Maybe a leak in the power steering cooler ???

How much are you loosing? Did you do any work to the system prior to the fluid disapearing? The system might have bled some air out of the lines, that may have dropped the fluid level some.

I have not done any work to the system. It is losing almost all of the fluid every 2 days of running so it is a pretty big leak. If the cooler was leaking wouldn't the fluid be coming out of the cooling water discharge? There is nothing in the water I made sure of that. How could I test the cooler?

When you are looking for the leak, is the steering turn all the way one way to dead head the pump for max pressure?

No it was not at the max. That is a good idea didn't think of that.
