thanks for the imput! the boat would do 96mph with the stock
502/whipple setup, so I'm sure I'll get past the 100mph mark
when I finish the new engine, just want to get as much as
possible out of it, just like everyone else here!

I would hold off on the nose cone until you try out the new engine. Otherwise you will not know what either one are worth speed wise.

+2 on the Hydromotive. I've been running up to 90 and the nose cone definitely helped the handling. Didn't lose or gain on speed but the handling was worth it. You have to spend some time feathering it in so it's centered and it's blended in perfectly, any variance in the radius from the tip to the side will cause turbulence and slow you down. I created cardboard templates to measure to curvature so it would be even and accurate.
