Default Exhaust Manifolds question

I have a set of Stainless Marine manifolds that were repaired once, and still have a few pit marks on them,
Im waiting on Stainless to get back to me to see if they will warranty them for me

a pair or replacement manifolds with fittings, bolts, gaskets and clamps are $1700

the risers I have are in good shape

so would I see a big difference in power and performance if I went with the stainless marine manifolds again ?

there is a set of EMI thunder manifolds on here complete for $700 (which is more in my price range)

so would it be worth the extra money to get the stainless marine ones or would the EMI be just as good

its going in a 24ft baja force
single 454 motor that I just rebuilt
motor should be making between 500-525hp
(going to the engine dyno in a few weeks)

any info is appreciated

I used Eddie Marine with long tubes on 600hp 502. Saw no difference in power even with CMI on Dyno. Don't think Stainlees would be much different IMO

I had a set on a 468 making 500 HP and they worked well. I doubt you would tell the difference on the speedo between the two. Make sure the $700 EMI's have the stainless steel long risers and not the cast aluminum short ones.
