They dont sound like to much prop for it. WOT rpm should be 5000-5100

502 is a great motor. Probably don't see many because the 496 came out in 2001 or so.
Most of the twins had 496's. Base was 496/375hp, upgrade was 496/425hp.
Around that time, to get the 502 you would have to pay out the azz
upgrading to a blue motor. Not many did, but that was a killer combo.

Not sure what the production run was on the 454 in the 29. I guess it also went away when the 496 came out.
454 being the base motor, replaced by the 496/375hp

Little to gain in MPH with 502 versus 454...Probably a couple MPH but the added cost probably wasnt worth the gain!

Like the other guys said low 70's. Mirage props run faster on those boats. Unless you raise the x dim or use a shortie, then the Bravo is better.
