Default Trim tabs

Was looking all over online the other day. Noticed that the folded edges (wings) of most tabs were facing down. Mine are facing up. Is this correct, or doesnt it matter ? Some say the folds are for strength only, and its ok either way...others say they dig in better if they are pointing down. Any ideas ?Thanks.

Dunno what kind...lol. They were on the boat when I bought it. 1989 Chris Craft 245 Limited...warmed up 502..bravo 1...25 Mirage. They look like standard run of the mill stainless power tabs, I just see the "folds" going in different directions (up or down) on some other peoples boats. Was just wondering if it made a handling difference. Thanks.

Most Bennets and Lenco's I have seen, the folds go up and I would leave them that way. They are there for strength.
