Default 260 Nova, 260 Stinger, Or what?

I've been looking at getting a 260 Nova for a couple of years now and I've finally gotten to the point where I can truely afford a boat. (Helps that my family just bought a house with a pier). I've also looked at a 260 Stinger and even a 32' Fittipaldi Stinger recently.

I'm liking the 26' or so with twin 350's as a nice first toy boat. I've very used to taking out the family 30' SeaRay but it's boring to say the least.

What are some comparable boats to the late 80's 260 Nova's and 260 Stingers? I've pretty good with the DIY stuff, so I'm not affraid of a little bit of work either...

TIA,
John

Look at the white 1987 26 Sutphen in the classifieds. It's owned by a long-time member and he just put it up for sale.

Where do you boat?

Have you considered other boats that size with a single BBC?

Default my nova (baby)

I just moved up to bigger boat and am getting ready to sell my 25 nova. reluctantly!
Twin built 302's with all the goodies lots of room. Sounds awsome looks great. Rides great in ruff water too.
Had it on Lake Mich during a small craft warning and it can bust a move when you want to. Tri axle trailer.
If you want to see any pic's send me an e-mail.

Not sure where you are located. I know of a really nice 312 stinger with 454's. Clean and mostly redone. Reasonably priced. Boat is in MI
