Default Tall Deck EFI

I wanted to see how many people would be interested in the purchase of a Tall deck Intake for EFI? This would work well for those who wanted to go from carb to EFI. Or those who are currently HP500, HP525 and want to go tall deck 540 or 572CU. I am talking to Accel about a new casting so the cost should be close the the current cost. That’s about $ 600.00 for the bottom and top Intake sections.

When I was looking into this style of setup, I was told that the throttle body and location on the plenum limited the HP to about 600 - and even then that was making compromises.
If I wanted to go wild, the NRE intake looks beautiful.

This will support 800 plus HP. It is currently being used by Potter engines on the 777hp model.

Wink

There are already a few tall deck efi manifolds available for tall deck BBC's. Why would Accell want to build another one now?

Best Regards,

Is this something that is already out there, or something new that you are trying to have casted?

I was looking into a casting. The casting company has backed out so I guess I will just go to Hogan’s.

If you're into the $$ for a good Hogans, you're only 1 step away from this:

Hot Rod Magazine did a few writeups on Nelson. That intake is billet. It was wittled from a big solid hunk of aluminum. I think is was like 8K for the intake.
