Default Hardin thermostatic cooler ?

I bought a new oil cooler with the built in thermostat, but it did not come with any paperwork. I am pretty sure the oil goes in the cooler on the side with the thermostat, can anyone verify this for me?

Yes. the hot oil from the motor goes in at the thermostat.
