Default Help ID This Motor

Anyone have an opinion on what motor this might be? It is in a repo and no real info on it. Thanks.

Is there a serial number tag pop riveted on just above the starter? Post the number I might be able to help.

Mechanical fuel pump on the Raw water pump, can't see any bolts on the top center of the timing cover, newer model PS pump bracket...

I'm going to guess a Gen V or VI 454 Mag with Teague rocker covers and a Holley 750 or 850 DP on what appears to be a HP500 single plane intake manifold and a front crossover / bypass. Thunderbold IV ignition, through prop exhaust with no cutouts, stock steering and a late model trim pump.

Probably a mild Mag hopefully hooked up to a Bravo1.

Block numbers would help though.

Remember its an engine, not a motor, motors run on electricity and such. Without some detailed info or internal specs, you are asking for a WAGMAR-Wild ASS Guess Made AT Random! I try not to do to many of those, gets me in trouble!

Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar

I on the other hand will guess until I am blue in the face as I have nowhere near half of your experience so it's all I can do!
Besides, I call them a S.W.A.G; Scientific Wild Ass Guess.
Love the 'motor' comment, I'll use that in future!!

The guys are right about the serial # without the number or talking to the previous owner it could be anything from a blown up engine to a 572cu/in forged internal monster worth $25,000 but tthe guy ran out of money so he had to buy a little carb and stock manifolds, hooked up to a Alpha drive Oh yeah!!!
