What is considered the best life vest for a two year old girl? What do I need to look for other than Coast Guard Approved, pick up handle, and head support?

This time not worried about cost. Just want the best.

Thanks in advance

We went through a few different vest for our Daughter. The problem with some of them was they were to restrictive in arm and head movement and she could not sit down without the vest pushing her cheeks up. some are more like a straight jacket and that pizzed her off!!! lol.
We found a Stearns model 29-92, it has no head support but she can move freely, it does have the crotch strap to keep her in check. Her head floats well above water. Not rated for skiing, just floating...We will be using the same type for our 2 year old son.

I've been through several of those same issues myself and the one problem is that they change model or numbers every year and you cant keep the same model. The best fitting jackets we have found are definitely the neopreme ones. We just outgrew an O'Brian and it is by far the best fitting jacket we found. With boys and the sand you find out pretty quick how well they like a jacket. I have also seen some reports that the head pad has had some negative effects for some kids with not functioning the correct way. Good luck and just try on as many as you can.
