I have a "Gaffrig Precision Instruments" tach and of course matching gauges in the 21... well the tach quit working, for the most part. It won't go below 1500 rpm and it doesn't really move much when you increase rpms over that- kinda thinking that the motor went bad. I double checked that it was the tach with another one I had lying around- and yes it is the tach.
Called Livorsi and they said the'll take a look at it, but can't take the gaffrig face and transfer it into a new tach- and of course they don't have any around (white on white).
Anyone have a tach that acted similiar and was successful in getting it repaired?
Its going out tommorow so I'll be in suspense till next week, I'm guessing.

You might want to try to do a internet search on your particular tach. There are some companies out there that buy up old discontinued gauges and sell them. I was able to find a discontinued tach and speedo for my boat at a place called Great Lakes Skipper.

Thanks guys... I've used great lake skipper in the past, I'll try looking around some on the computer if they can't fix it. I've seen alot of guys have run this tach, so maybe I'd even be able to come up with a used one.
Keepin my fingers crossed for now.
