Pully Back lash on 177 Blower
#5
I believe there is about 200 hrs on them. Just that when you hold rotors inside blower stationary, and then by hand , try to turn the pulley back and forth, the pulley on one blower has more "back lash or end play" than the pulley on the other blower. Just wanted make sure this " back lash" wasnt out of tolerence.

There is no axial movement on those input shafts. The snout bearing is pressed on and the assy is held in the housing with a shoulder machined in the back and a snap ring in front. Pull the snout off and check it out.
