Default Backflush water system

Trying to build up my library of useful info. Can anyone tell me the proper way to "backflush" the raw water system (as if you were looking for impeller pieces) ? Thanks.

Pics of were to hook the hose up would be awesome !!!

98% of impeller pieces will be caught in the oil cooler where the water enters the cooler. Any pieces small enough to get into the cooler will probably pass through it eventually or are so small that they don't matter.

Unless you have a Cool Fuel system. Then they get caught in the fuel cooler under the motor.
