Anyone have any input on ditching the factory lift pump and vapor separator tank setup in favor of a single aeromotive or similar electric pump?

mine came with the factory cool fuel system that was perfect for a long time but then for a variety of reasons needed to be replaced. i went to an aftermarket pump and a seperate adjustable regulator with a tank return with no problems at all.
