Had someone who used to work for Formula tell me a way to help with vapor locking was to take the thermostats out take out the guts and put back in for the the water restriction.. That the motors will still run up above 150 so it won't run in a rich condition but when you let it idel before shut off that it would cool quickly and not hover on the high end..
What ya all think.....? Anyone done this... I would assume with the little restriction still you wouldn't crack the heads or something with the cold rush of water...

I highly doubt it will cure the vapor lock problem and it most likely won't run as well.
