Mike, Yes that is the one I bought from you.
The hook must be an illusion.
i think it is an Imco cone, the hydromotives have a different shape. I finished painting it this weekend , now I just have to put it back together and finish the Upper.
Thanks , for the replies

Chuck; What did you use for filler on that drive?? We took my trs's done to bare aluminum, to try to get most of the pits out but it would be real nice if we could fill whats left. I was told that nothing will stay for very long.
Has anyone else had good luck with filler??

Mike,
Unfortunatly the guy that welded the cone on mistakenly welded up the speedo hole. I had asked him just to weld the low water pick-up hole and he did both
That was the reason I bought yours , it had the speedo. And now that its done I should have left the low water pick hole open , then I could have tapped into the top of the cone and use that as a drive cooler pickup.
Delsol,
After i had the cone welded, i use Miller-Stevenson 2 part epoxy and filled it as much as possible. Then i just used regular automotive Bondo. I then painted it with a self etching primer and finished it with some black paint.
Hopefully the Bondo will stay a while.
