Default Bravo 1 forward- reverse clip question

Never installed a shift cable on a Bravo drive before. When I hook up shift cable and close the top part to the bottom. Is there any clamp to hold it shut? Seems loose when closed. Sorry I don't know what this is called. Shift lever?

Leave it right where it is and as the drive gets close to the gimbal, make sure the cable end gets into the jaws. What happens is that once the drive slides all the way in, the upper jaw can no longer open because it is back in that opening and the roof wont allow it to open, make sure you grease it up well too.
