Default 525SC Clone Upgrades

I have a 1988 454 Mag 365 HP with a 177 Weiand 5# boost pulley Holley 850 marine carb. The Heads have heavier springs with Roller Rockers and stock exhaust. The motor has 423 original hours on it, the blower was installed at 40 hours.
I plan to pull the heads and add Inconnel exhaust and SS intake valves along with a Revolution exhaust system for reliability.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? I don't want the added cost of Aluminum heads or a Super chiller. I just want to keep a reliable 475-500HP pshp motor.

So, you must have 380 hours on the blower? I would send it out to get refreshed. Or move up a size in blowers .

Actually, I forgot to add that I had the blower completely rebuilt with an enhancement upgrade of teflon strips last summer. I think once I add Revolution or Eddie Marine exhaust and change the valves it should be a bullet proof motor running 5# boost at 5,000'-7,600' elevation??

x3

For a cam, I would talk to Bob Maderia aka RMBuilder.
His phone number is 585-654-8583

My next upgrade would be to save your pennies and get a innercooler. I like the Whipple low profile one. You will have a more consistant, and safer running motor by cooling the intake charge.
