Default K&N VS. Gaffrig style

Im running 10"x3" gaffrig arrestors on my hopped up 525SC's. I need to go to a 8" or 9" diameter arrester.

Was looking at the KN ones, but not sure how they flow? Also, is there a general size recommondation when it comes to arrestors/HP levels?

when I had my formula 272 w/warmed over smallblocks I put the k&n's on. Tried the stock spark arresters on and picked up a few hundred rpm.
