Default Valve guides for Mercury Racing 525 EFI

I am looking for 1 intake and 1 exhaust valve guide for a mercury racing 525 efi. I am in the process of repairing a head that was damaged after a valve broke due to a leaking header. It does not appear that Mercury sells the valve guides separately and the manufacturer Edelbrock is not permitted to sell them to anyone but Mercury. Any recomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently Mercury had them specially made by Edelbrock and they are longer than the standard 502. I got the part numbers yesterday but don't know that that does me much good. I can't imagine that this isn't a common item that is needed considering all of the problems with the leaking headers. If it was easy to do it wouldn't be the marine industry

Smitty:

Give Claude at CHE a call @ (805) 499-8885, if he does not have that guide in stock he can make you some.
He makes our seats and guides, he is the best.

Best Regards,
