Missing alarm check - 496 HO
I reinstalled the battery on my single 496 Fever 27, after a long winter, hoping to go for a ride tomorrow.
But when I turned on the key, I just got a very short beep instead of the usual alarm check, which used to sound for a couple of seconds, and was much more audible than this one.
Any idea on the reason?
Btw, while driving home, an idea popped to my mind: the kill switch was open when I turned the key.
Normally, I have the cord connected and the kill switch closed, so I don't know if that makes any difference.
Can that be the reason for the missing alarm?
Thanks in advance!
