Timing a Thunderbolt ignition question.
Can someone tell me can I just set timing on ignition? Or is there a wire I have to take off for advanced, then set timing?

No wire, just set the base timing per your engine spec's, then rev it up (engine should be warm at operating temp) and check at about 3600 rpm should be full advance by then, the amount of advance is part of the module you have some are 14 and 16 (V6) and others are 22 and 24 (V8's). The advance number is usually a number on the outside of the module.
