Me to Rik, or how about buy one, get one FREE. I might be able to afford that. I want Arneson surface drives on my flat bottom Cigarette. Time for you to post that picture of that rooster!:drink:

Rooster tails aren't necessarily good. I could be wrong, but throwing a rooster tails is essentially a loss of torque. I agree with these guys though. Get a shorty, increasing your x dimension and it will raise the prop of the water. Increase the pitch for reduced water tension and you gots yourself a rooster tail.

O yea? Thanks for the great boat!
It use to throw a pretty good one till i saw my buddies #6 do it.
I upgraded to SCX and they come with a cavitation plate that seems to reduce it now for some reason....or maybe its the Herings...or maybe its just me! ;)

Yes, thats a fun boat. Have you seen the pic of the Fountain speed record boat when they throttle up with the 1550 sterlings?? That tail couldve soaked dowtown Washington NC LOL

I know....Unreal the water coming out! Seems like that isnt efficient but if anyone knows how to make a Fountain scream its Reggie and Brian.

If you're on FB you have to look at pics I have posted of blow up dolls strapped into the back seats of your boat during the KW poker run
