When you shift you should see the Shift shaft move. Are you?

when i try and shift onthe controls you can see movement on #14 and shift is allmost in the out of gear position not sure if the shift sharft is moveing but the small plates on the shaft move but it just wont go all the way thanks for taking the time to help regards paul from england
