Yes, the intercooler can easily do that. Take the intercooler off run a water hose into the intake ports. Look to see if there is any water coming into the intercooler case. If not you can run air in there, plug one end up then run air into the other side at 25psi max, listen for a hiss inside the intercooler. Mine was leaking water at 20psi. Hope this helps.
