i had a red scuff, not sure what it was from, and i used everything i had to try to get it off my back seat. windex and or vinyl cleaner usually did the trick, but not on this one. i took a VERY small amout of nail polish on a towel and it came off instantly. no damage to my seat, but it was brand new vinyl too. not say go out and do this, but it worked on mine. try a spot that you cant see and look at how if affects it first before you go to cleaning.

Magic eraser. If the culprit is your wife or girlfriend, ask that they clearcoat their nails. That keeps the color from being transfered to your vinyl or gel coat.

Advice
Before we go dishing out advice, we need to know a couple important things..
1: Did this girl have big TiTs?
2: If so did you get to see them?

So what about getting nail polish off of the gelcoat, had some stupid woman slip on the front end of my boat and leave a nice streak of nail polish. Don't want to put polish remover on so what is the best thing to use.

The magic eraser is great on vinyl. You could try sunscreen. Sunscreen works on black bug guts. I put a little sun screen on the spot and rub it in with a paper towel. It removes it in seconds. You most likely have some sunscreen on board. By the way, I would be pissed! I hope she looked good on your boat. I would have thrown here overboard for getting that on my boat.

Aceton will take it right off and not hurt the gel.
