Default Fuel and Water Seperator?

While working on the boat last night I was going top replace the Fuel and Water Seperator and had bought it at O'Reilly's Auto Parts (Again) they looked the number I gave them off the old one and said they said they don't make one by that number (Fram PCS5062M) so I had them look up the one for my year of Mercruiser 454 and it didn't fit?? The part where the threads are were to small??

Now What? I'm going to go to Fram's web site and see if I can look it up that way!

Please Help Again!!

I just looked at it and the Wix #33225 is what they gave me last night that didn't fit. It was to small where it screws into the mount!

Great NEWS!! I got ahold of Wix tech. line and they gave me the number for the filter with larger threads it's (#33405)

I also talked to the manager at the Auto Parts store and they are going to get me a copy of all the Marine Catalog's that they have, I saw them last night and it looks like a big 3 ring binder of catalogs that include Holly, A/C, Champion, Medart, etc. so I can look the stuff up my self!! If anyone needs anything looked up I might be able to help in about a week!

I contacted a local truck repair shop and they had the Fram PCS5062 in stock. They were able to order a case (6) of the PCS5062M for me. It took 3 days to get them and since they were part of another order, he didn't charge me shipping. I used 2, a friend used 2 and I have 2 for next year.

If your still having troubles, check your local truck repair shops and ask if they sell Fram filters.
