PS: One of my initial concerns was how "durable" are the Air Docks? Are they abrasion resistant? Do they leak? or could leave a boat on one for a week or two without the Air Dock slowly deflating?

I have also looked at the Jet Dock and EZ dock systems, they also look pretty good, but, I am not sure about having to "winch" the boat up on and across that plastic and the rollers, it looked [to me at least] like it would really beat up the hull

I wouldnt recomend a lift that sits on the bottom for the St. Lawrence, the water level changes too much and you have to move it .( it takes at least 4 people) also its hard to level it unless you have a gentle slope and you have to pull it out in the fall or sink it below the water line to avoid damage in the winter. I have a 7000 lb hydraulic lift run off a batery with a solar panel that I used for my 222 stinger. Its been sitting on the shore for 2 years now, it was just too much trouble.
I bit the bullit and installed a 10k lb cantilevered lift on my dock. it was expensive but I should have done it in the first place you can go away knowing your boat will be safe

If you are on a lake where you have waves and wind the last thing you want is a floating lift, I live in W Centeral Mn. and on a lake, I have a 30' Scarab and am using a Newman 9000 lb verticle lift with a 34 ft. canopy, Aluminum, works great and I have 60' of dock, where I have the lift is about 5' of water and it works great. Floating lifts (Hydro Hoists etc.) are designed for inland water access areas, or rivers where there is calm water. otherwise your boat is bobing around constantly, besides that you have to be able to fasten the floating lift to an anchoring system so it doesnt float away ???
Good Luck, Hope I helped answer your question.
